Contrary to popular opinion, feminism and romance are not incompatible

I think my favourite finding is that "having a feminist partner was linked to healthier heterosexual relationships for women. Men with feminist partners also reported both more stable relationships and greater sexual satisfaction. According to these results, feminism does not predict poor romantic relationships, in fact quite the opposite."

Of course we knew it all anyway, but it's nice for this to be supported by both the sciences and the media, for a change. Wonder if Nuts magazine will soon be running an article along the lines of 'Want a better shag? Date a feminist!'. Oh, that'd be the day ;).
